What if I have legal documents but nothing has been done? Am I still considered to be in "good jurisdiction"?
As long as you are not guilty of any legal matter you are in good legal standing. If you are unsure, feel free to apply and we will contact you if your jurisdiction affects the status of your application. We conduct these reviews during the application process and after hiring decisions have been made.
There is no correct answer to this question! We hire all kinds of people. We're not looking for a cookie-cutter person who makes a great RA – we're looking for a really broad spectrum of people. So we want people who identify as both introverts and extroverts. Those who are confident in identity and those who are not. We believe our training and development processes are powerful in helping you develop and become the best RA possible! Please don't rule yourself out because you think you don't fit a certain mold – we want diverse people on our teams and residents!

If I am appointed as a substitute, does that mean I won't get the position or should I still hold out hope?
Always hope! If we offer you an alternative position, it means "We want you! But we don't have a place right now." We always try to tell people that getting an alternative position should be just as exciting as getting one. We are always hiring. From the alternate list before the fall semester begins! Our alternate list often runs out quickly, so we put many people on the alternate list. I know it sounds discouraging, but remember that we are always conducting scientific, judicial and financial reviews – which are open continuously at odd times throughout the year. When we call for a replacement, it's usually an easy change. If this expectation is too much for you, you can always decline the alternate position and reapply next year. !
