The vast majority of futures trades made by Grats are paid before expiration. Some merchants may allow their tenure to expire; And in the case of Bitcoin futures, cash settlement ends at the Bitcoin Reference Rate (BRR).

A long-term spread involves selling an option on a near-term expiration month and buying an option on a longer-term expiration month. Options are calls or puts with the same strike price and the same contract. There are always exceptions to this.
One reason to buy a calendar spread (also known as a horizontal spread and time spread) is its low risk and potential for profit over time. This may be due to some event, such as an economic report or an election, that you believe the market will not move as expected.
