Nyit Academic Calendar Spring 2023
The road to innovation is often through experimentation. The New York Tech Emerging Technology Group (ETG) is calling for proposals for an Emerging Technology Innovation Award focused on collaboration and interdisciplinarity. There are three ways in which small grant awards can be offered this summer to advance work in new technology, and there are plenty to choose from.
University College Of The Cayman Islands
A New Technology Grant ( ) awarded to a NYC faculty member is a one-time payment and/or contract to acquire a specific technology as outlined in the grant proposal. As part of a project proposal, faculty may apply for funding in lieu of time and/or software or hardware to support research.
Funds are paid through member commissions, net of payroll taxes such as overtime, allowances, etc. See the current Collective Bargaining Agreement for more information. Funds will be distributed and received until 15.06.2023.
Hardware and software purchases are made directly through Emerging Technology Group with no other implied obligations on behalf of the company other than group membership. Hardware/software requirements must be completed by March 1, 2023 and hardware must be received by June 15, 2023. Any delay in requesting resources may result in forfeiture of prizes.
