The first week of the ninth lunar month is the same time of year. Keeping them for three months always seems more challenging than actually enjoying the wine on a December afternoon (which I'm sure we'll never get close to).

But at a higher level, they are French; they come from Spain, Portugal, Moldova, Georgia and Italy. Here are two grape varieties we've never heard of; so it's always interesting. A box like this is a great way to expand your wine knowledge. I have learned a lot by writing this article.

We'd love to publish information on each of these wines, but in order to get you this information quickly, we typically open four bottles for tastings. Our 11 year old chose the wines completely at random and ended up choosing two whites and two reds. There was some rosé in the box though. This time there was no bubbling, which is usually the case with the December 24th batch.

Poured clearly with a light yellow tinge. Stone fruit on the nose; lemon I love this Chardonnay.

This is a unique blend of Fernão Pires and Branco Arinto, two grapes we have never tasted before. The grapes are light golden in color with flavors of grapefruit and peach. It is bright, crisp, acidic and in some ways reminiscent of light-bodied Viognier.

This is probably the first time I remember tasting Saperavi from Georgia. There is dust in the glass. Most of the fruit is black and the wine is youthful with a hint of wildness. It's fun to try.

The wine has a deep ruby ​​red bouquet with hints of black cherry and red licorice. Big and strong body. Our favorite flavor.

I bought it from Costco in Florida in November. Now we're at number 15. I can't drink anymore. Almost all wines have "wine taste". I know the difference between dry and damaged. Some are resistant but have a distinctive flavor when the grapes are damaged during harvest or when the wine corks are damaged. The cork dried up and crumbled.
