Crowd Calendar Disney World 2023 Touring Plans – Disneyland's 2023 calendar will help you plan your vacation! Includes tips for planning the perfect day. I have to start this post, this is only my opinion based on many years of experience. There are many factors to consider including dates, school calendars, holidays, blackout dates and special events that Disney's Magic Key tickets feature. I made a colorful calendar for each month in 2023.

I get this question a lot! Unfortunately, the days of walking on horseback are long gone. There are times when it's less crowded, but Disneyland is a popular vacation spot!

With that in mind, here's what you can do to plan your trip around the crowd if your dates are flexible. But if you don't mind, I have lots of tips to help you navigate the parks on a busy day!

Disney has many events and holidays that celebrate these days. It is important to know these times when planning your trip. Find out when each holiday season usually starts. Or when there are other events planned throughout the year, such as the Food and Wine Festival, Grad Nites, and after-hours events. You'll notice that every weekend is red on the calendar below. Weekends are always busy at any time of the year. People are unemployed, children don't have school, this is the most convenient thing. So if you avoid red dates, weekends and holidays, this would be my recommendation. When the kids aren't in school, expect the park to be empty! But not everyone can go during the week, I understand that. So I came up with some crowd management tips. And my first tip is reaching the bottom.

Tuesday and Wednesday are the best days to visit with fewer crowds. Keep in mind that during less free time, park hours are typically shorter, with fewer rides and less entertainment.

But when you actually go, if you have a good travel plan you will have a great time, there are many things to see and do in the parks. There is a common misconception that the reservation system at Disneyland still exists because Disney limits capacity. Back then the parks were open, but not now. January is usually less busy, but that also means shorter hours, attractions may be closed for renovations, and entertainment is limited. For example, the fireworks display is only on weekends, while Fantasmic on is also held on weekends. January 27 is also the start of this year's big party, Disney100. It's going to be a very busy weekend!

February also typically has shorter park hours, fewer updates, and possibly less entertainment. February 20 is President's Day and many schools have a week off from school.

Get The Most From The Disney Theme Parks With Touring Plans

Spring break starts March 6-10 in Arizona. Schools in CA, AZ, NV, NM, TX, ID, UT, HI are on spring break at various times for the rest of the month and part of April. And some take two weeks off.

If you are planning to travel to Disneyland in May or June 2023, you should try to avoid these dates. The following dates are grad nites… 2023 Disneyland Resort Grad Nite Dates. I'll share more about this event in a few months since both parks are busy these days, but the event will take place at Disney California Adventure a few hours later. Schools can arrive when the park opens and use their park tickets until the special event starts at 9pm!

The whole month of July is busy. It's summer vacation, the 4th of July, and the kids are out of school.

In August, we start to notice that the noise starts to die down as the kids go back to school and summer comes to an end.

September is one of my favorite times to visit the parks. However, keep in mind that there are limited hours, some updates, and usually no footage during the week. Additionally, Disney California Adventure hosts the Oogie Boogie Bash in September and October. These party dates may affect your itinerary, as you must leave DCA by 6pm if you do not have a party ticket. We won't know those dates until 2023, but you can see the 2022 data here to give you an idea.

In October, autumn vacation is scheduled in many schools. Most schools are for the first or second week. But some go in the third week. Keep this in mind when planning your October vacation.

Usually, the weekend of November 2 marks the beginning of the holiday season. And it brings people back to the parks. Also, many school districts do not hold the entire Thanksgiving week. It's a busy time!

The first week of December, the 2nd and 3rd of 2023, Disneyland will host the Candlelight Procession. The parks are very busy for this event. As the month goes by and the kids get out of school, you see a huge influx of people into the parks. It's very busy before the kids go back to school after Christmas.
