Diy Calendar Magnets

Diy Calendar Magnets – This quick and fun DIY Tree Dollar Farm Calendar is quick to put together and makes a great DIY for the evening. They will also make a nice gift for the holidays.

Here at Ruffles and Rain Boots, it may be obvious that I like to use Dollar Tree items as supplies for my crafts. From Cricuts to Gnomes, I think finding craft supplies is fun because with their ever-changing inventory, it's like a game!

Speaking of games, we're going to use one of Dollar Tree's most popular games, Falling Skyscrapers, to create these adorable farmhouse magnets in just a few minutes. Let's begin.

Due to the nature of Dollar Tree, you may need to do a little searching for their ever so popular Farm Calendar. As soon as they hit the shops they pop up all over the craft groups and my local shop is always out of stock.

When the hype dies down, I can always find them. Dollar Tree seems to be getting a few shipments (or sending them out in waves), so don't lose faith if you can't find them mid-year.

My other tip for you is definitely to play around with paint, wax or even stain on the falling skyscrapers. You can change the appearance of just a little bit or even a whole set!

An additional interesting way to present them as gifts is to attach a string or ribbon hanger to the back. Wouldn't they make the cutest jewelry?!

Keeping our family schedule organized is always a little crazy. Making these cute calendar magnets with the Cricut Print Then Cut helps keep things together and makes my calendar super cute!

If you're looking for a fun way to update your family calendar, break out your Cricut Maker and create these cute calendar magnets. You can use the cut file I have here on Design Space or create your own!

Diy Calendar Magnets

If you go to this post, it will show you what you need to do to use Print then Cut with your Cricut device. We used this cutting file in Cricut Design Space to make these magnets. Print the designs and then cut them out on the machine.

Using the same miter saw, cut solid pieces on the thick chipboard. This will take a little longer as the Cricut Maker needs several passes to make smooth and precise cuts in the chipboard. Make sure you use a sturdy mat to grip the chipboard and secure it with masking tape so it doesn't move at all.

After cutting out the pictures and the chipboard, glue the pictures to the chipboard. Printable vinyl and sticker paper are already adhesive, so no additional glue is needed.

Using a hot glue gun, put a dot of glue on the back of the chip board and stick the magnet on top. Allow to cool and dry before use.

I'm so excited to see how you do today's project! I used the amazing Krazy Strong, Krazy Fast Glue to make our number magnets for our new fridge magnet calendar and I was hooked after the first drop of glue! I loved how easy it was to use and how you could create masterpieces in minutes! Just look!

To attach the tiles to the magnets, use a drop of Krazy's strong, fast adhesive on the back of the tiles and apply.

Unlike a glue gun, Krazy Glue's precision tip and brushes adhere the tiniest of items without mess, burns or tape runs. The Skin Guard™ formula slows the adhesion to the skin and gives me extra work time before the glue dries! Always a plus!

Krazy Glue works with porcelain, ceramic, plastic, rubber, metal, glass and vinyl, eliminating the need for glue guns and other expensive tools. Unlike a glue gun, Krazy Glue's precision tip and brushes keep the smallest items in place without the mess, burns or tape runs… Love it!

It's super strong, crazy fast… It helps me complete a craft in less time than it takes to set up and heat up a glue gun properly!

For the final touches, I used a gold permanent marker to draw lines and write the names of the days of the week. By now the Krazy glue had completely dried, so it was time to attach the tile magnets.

Remember, Krazy Glue's gel formula allows us to bond vertical surfaces without liquid mud and fill gaps when gluing mismatched surfaces… So cool!

Our magnetic acrylic wall calendar is a real eye catcher! It's absolutely stunning and you won't find it anywhere else. It is printed on the back so the print will never come off. The surface of the calendar is an amazing premium acrylic which is the best dry erase surface on the market. Acrylic makes a great writing surface for dry or wet erase markers. Say goodbye to messy, dry, low-quality calendars that leave halos and smudges.

It is screwed to the wall with the help of 4 beautiful spacers. Your choice of silver, gold or black pads. There is a frame on the back of the calendar which prevents movement when writing and keeps the surface rigid.

The writing surface is acrylic. Acrylic is much better than traditional whiteboard surfaces. It cleans flawlessly without leaving any "ghosts" or residue.

All tools for installing 4 corner supports are included. Closing old floorboards and drywall requires care to avoid damaging the plaster around the screws (common in homes built before the 1950s).
