National Parks Monster Calendar 2023 – Back by popular demand, here's the 2023 National Park Monsters Calendar! This is the same calendar as last year (except for new dates) for those who missed it last year, full of monsters, aliens, zombies and other creatures that have taken over America's national parks. Each month contains information about all the monsters and parks, as well as funny "facts" and "dates" that will make you smile. Meet Zombies of Zion! Pit Lake Creature! Make your life easier with an alternate history… Background: As I mentioned earlier, it's been a really wild holiday season, with scam artists creating scam entries for the 2022 National Monster Park Calendar and posting them all over the place. First on Facebook, then on Instagram with links to fake e-commerce sites, and then on Amazon, Etsy and Walmart.com.

It made me mad, hurt, depressed, stressed, and exhausted from trying to keep trying to figure out the lists. All the pressure is on me to submit these takedown requests, not on the multi-billion dollar giants who are making money off of fraudulently selling my work. This part is under development and I hope to tell you about it later.

The only good thing about all of this is that a few people alerted me to these bogus listings or simply googled and found my website. As a result, my calendar sales went through the roof. I sealed my original print and then reprinted it. I sold it over the weekend and printed more. It lasted about 3-4 days but now they are sold out too.

A lot of people have asked me if I'm going to print more this year. And to be honest, I can't wait. This experience exhausted me in ways I never thought possible. Alternate Date is one person, me, and my girlfriend helping me fill in the diaries. I run everything from one bedroom in our little Pittsburgh house. I am physically, mentally or emotionally unable to print any more this year.

I hope next year will be different. I plan ahead to get a studio space where I can hire help and print and distribute these calendars. The 2023 National Park Monsters Calendar will be bigger and better than ever. It will have the same basic artwork with a few changes, new text and lots of fun stuff.

Thanks again to everyone who got in touch, bought a calendar and sent a letter of support. It means a lot. First things first: the 2022 National Park Monsters Calendar is sold out. IF YOU BUY IT FROM ANYWHERE EVEN AMAZON, EBAY OR ETSY IT IS UNAUTHORIZED AND IS A SCAM. There is a store with replicas and it will open soon. Once you open it, it will tell you the following:

Starting around November 18th, my images and text titled Alternate History National Park Calendar 2022 were stolen by scammers operating from another country. At first there were dozens if not hundreds of posts on Facebook advertising obscure e-commerce sites selling my magazine along with dozens of other stolen items. On November 23rd, I noticed that the scammers had moved to Amazon.

This has been killing my life for the past week. I felt insulted, angry, depressed, and a whole host of complex emotions caused not only by the theft of my work, but by the inability of the various companies involved to take any meaningful action. This piece will be much longer (I hope to write or act at some point), but suffice it to say: Amazon, Facebook, etc. They ask me to do all the work. However, they don't have a mechanism to block real people doing scams. It's like playing with titan or trying to save the titanic. Even if you manage to go through the long and difficult process of removing an ad or ad, twenty more ads will pop up.

This was a special journal for me, a tribute to my recently deceased parents who took me on trips to many national parks, which are featured here inspired by old family photos. Seeing him used like this was really trying for me as I struggle with anger and depression at the same time.

The only good thing that happened is that these ads are so obviously fake that many people googled my work and bought the calendar from me, so I sold my second printing of the calendar. But to be honest, I don't deserve it. I'd rather it never happen.

But it did, and I try to escape from it, spending every free second on my reports and fighting electronic ghosts.
