The meeting took place face-to-face and was attended by 112 participants, focusing on the importance of cultural dialogue and the importance of intercultural engagement and global competence. employability of students. On May 7, 2021, SLU organized iCREaTE 2021 – International and Intercultural Day Festival. Over 1,100 participants from 163 participating schools and national and international participants took part in the online celebration of unity and diversity. The event was attended by representatives of the countries of Nigeria, Indonesia, Yemen, Mongolia, Korea, Sudan, Thailand, Philippines and China. At the FRIENDS project event, two expert speakers gave presentations on "Innovation through internationalization", Mrs. Chrtistina Armutlieva from VUM, Bulgaria – the coordinating institution of the FRIENDS project and "Improving access to global education". and intercultural awareness through digitization".
