The College Orientation Program consists of two parts, (1) online courses that students must complete before starting classes and (2) an in-person program experience during a weekend retreat.
All students are required to attend and complete all orientations, both in the individual form. Details about the orientation program and the timing of the weekend move will be shared in the months leading up to the start of the season. All dates for the 2022-2023 school year can be found in the Academic Calendar.
In the weeks leading up to the start of classes, new students will learn about the university's resources, expectations, and traditions through orientation sessions and other specialized courses. The full featured experience consists of four programs:

Once on campus, the fun begins when new students meet their advisors, student leaders, and other members of their team. The orientation week will give new students the opportunity to socialize and interact with others while connecting with the staff, faculty, and facilities of the campus.
Guidance will be provided up close and personal. Typically starting in the weeks leading up to the move, all content will be seamless and designed for you to find and engage with at your own time and pace. After moving to campus, students will attend a required weekend program. All students are required to attend and complete orientations up close and personal.
In addition to the necessary administrative requirements, administrative staff, the Campus Activities Board (CAB), and other members of the community will host educational and social events for students to get to know each other. Details of this event will be communicated through the weekly #Bound Newsletter sent to your email address in the months leading up to the start of school.

All orientations and group meetings are an important part of your transition. The content of this course is designed to prepare you for success from the start of your career, and you will be responsible for knowing and understanding the material covered throughout the course. Your attendance and participation will be tracked, and you may receive reminders or notifications if you have not completed the requirements.

To participate in graduation, all degree candidates must log in to the Student Hub, where there will be a portlet dedicated to the graduation program. Here, candidates will review and complete the requirements necessary to receive a cap and gown and participate in the event, such as meeting their financial obligations, completing surveys, and returning their computers.
Black Entrepreneurs Start Businesses At Higher Rates Than Other Groups, Analysis Finds
The site will be available to graduate candidates approximately two weeks prior to commencement. Qualified candidates will receive an email prior to opening the portal to their email address.
Caps, gowns and tassels are provided by the university free of charge to graduates and can be kept as a memento of this memorable occasion.
Hats and gowns will be available at the center's store May 2-13. Check the store's website for hours of operation.

IMPORTANT: Undergraduate candidates may not wear their gown until all requirements have been met through the Graduation Clearing Process (CCP).
Tickets are required for all guests to enter the graduation tent. At the end of 2023, each graduate candidate will receive six tickets for guest seating under the tent. Guests can also watch the practice via Carling-Sorenson television. For family and friends who cannot attend, the event can be viewed online.
For reserved seating under the tent, ticket holders must be at the graduation tent on the Upper Athletic Field at 9:40 am. m.
Babson Executive Conference Center
Registration for all undergraduate classes will be held at the Athletic Recreation Complex (BRAC). Have your OneCard or ID card. There is no place to store bags or suitcases; please bring only what you want to bring.
Note: Tickets will not be available for pick up until all requirements have been met through Graduation Compensation (CCP). International Education Week celebrates the best of international education and the exchange of ideas around the world. This program is sponsored by the US Department of Education.
This is a time to get to know the global community and an opportunity to engage in international education through the College experience. Students, faculty, and staff all have the opportunity during the week to learn more about study abroad opportunities, participate in various cultural and social events, and meet students who value multiculturalism in their careers.
