Nashville Convention Calendar 2023 – NASHVILLE (BP) – The release of the 2023 Southern Baptist service calendar is highlighted by the addition of a week of observance, which will be held for the first time on September 24, 2023.
The SBC Executive Committee approved an additional week of care, dedicated to public awareness and taking appropriate action to prevent abuse, during a vote on Tuesday, September 20.

The 2023 calendar also includes major Southern Baptist events such as Disaster Relief Week (June 4), CP Week (October 1), World Mission Study and Prayer Week, and Lottie's Month of Christmas Giving (Dec. 3-10) and Annie Armstrong Week. of Prayer and Study of the American Mission of North America and Easter Giving (March 5-12).

Each month of the year is highlighted by specific days designed to promote the region. Examples include Focus on Christian Ministry in August, Focus on Christian Evangelism in April, and Focus on Christian Unity in February.
Jonathan Howe, SBC EC vice president of communications, said the calendar serves as a way to help Southern Baptists in their collaborative efforts.
"The SBC calendar is a useful tool for churches to show how God is working in and through Southern Baptists across the country and around the world," Howe said.

"Additionally, days like Health Care Sunday provide an opportunity for churches to provide resources and train members." We encourage all participating churches to join with us to equip and inspire Southern Baptists through these wonderful events throughout the conference."
