INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) announced the 10-team field for the Division III Women's Ice Hockey Championships on Sunday night, with Gustavus (22-3-2) selected to host UW-Eau Claire (-23). 5-0) first round on Wednesday, March 9.

UW-Eau Claire Associate Director of Marketing and Communications Michael Knuth told the Leader-Telegram in an email that 10 of the 15 students were already in isolation or quarantine as of Tuesday afternoon, the day before school started.

The UW System plans to use the antigen test for students in the dorms, a method that produces results every 15 minutes every two weeks but can produce false negatives. Students who get positive antigen test results are then told to do the PCR test, which is known to be more accurate but can take a day or more to get results from the lab.

Despite the chaos of the outbreak over the past two years, most bluegolds find work in their field shortly after graduation, according to a recent report by Target One.

In the survey, University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire students who graduated in August and December 2020 and May 2021 report a placement rate of about 98 percent, and about 93 percent of recent graduates say they are employed in a career-related position. Goals.
