Western Carolina University Calendar Spring 2023 – Western Carolina University has announced the 2021 plans for the spring semester, which include delaying the start of classes by two weeks, eliminating the traditional one-week spring break, and shortening the break.
Interim pastor Richard Starnes said the 2021 spring training will continue to be organized both face-to-face, online and hybrid courses.

The shortened term break will coincide with the Easter holiday and there will be no classes from Thursday 1st April to Monday 5th April. Spring semester final exams are held on Friday, May 7th, the last day of classes, and then from Saturday, May 8th through Friday, May 14th.
Starnes said spring commencement ceremonies are tentatively scheduled for Friday, May 14, and Saturday, May 15, but those dates are subject to change.

Mercer Softball Announces Full Spring Schedule
Classes will begin on Monday, January 25th as scheduled, but all classes will be held remotely until February 12th. On February 15, classes will continue as originally planned with individual or hybrid classes. Classes currently scheduled to meet remotely will continue to learn in this style of education.
The decision comes after senior university leaders, along with University of North Carolina System leadership, public health officials and local hospital representatives, reviewed state and regional COVID-19 activity in anticipation of the start of the spring term.
The academic calendar does not change. The spring semester ends on May 14, as planned.
Four Home Games; Trip To Nc State Featured On 2022 Football Schedule
In order to further protect the greater campus community, the return of students to campus residences will be delayed. The movement will begin on February 6. Students scheduled to move into student housing will receive re-entry test information, prorated refunds/credits, and move-in instructions from Residence Hall.

Visitors to Cullowhee can see the newest Apodaca Science Building, which opened last September, and new residence halls scheduled to open this fall.
A Spring Guide To Asheville, Nc
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions holds open houses for prospective students each spring and fall. Another open session will be held on Saturday, March 26. Both events take place from 08:30 to 16:00.
The admissions office will also be going on four tours of the city in March. University representatives will travel to Hickory, Fayetteville, Raleigh and Charlotte to meet with prospective undergraduate, graduate, transfer or distance learning students from these communities.
