Hawaiian Lunar Calendar 2023 – For over 35 years, PBR HAWAII has been handing out monthly calendars to its customers and friends. Always colorful, information about the moon's course is well received by surfers, fishermen, those who practice Asian culture, those who practice Hawaiian agriculture, fishing and gathering, and those who study humanity.

In 2010, in honor of our 40th anniversary, the graphics department at PBR HAWAII made significant changes to the design of the monthly calendar "poster". Beginning with kalo (taro), the poster's imagery is based on images of Hawaiian plants and wa'a (water). Because of the importance of kalo in Native Hawaiian culture, it will undoubtedly appear on the first "vegetable" calendar. In 2011, our calendar featured ulu (bread), Hawai'i's staple food before bonding during famine. This plant was chosen to represent the difficult economic times that many people in Hawaii are going through. In 2012, the calendar was based on 'ohe (bamboo). Bamboo is a strong plant and was chosen to show resilience during this period of prolonged financial hardship. Bamboo is common in Asia, so it was also chosen to show our concern for the people of Japan and their suffering from the March 13, 2011 earthquake and tsunami and subsequent earthquakes and natural disasters. – environment.
