The Department of Classics and Archeology has put together a calendar of events for this academic year. as part of the recent batch 1 learning community experience. And there are lectures by assistants and additional teachers. All lectures are recorded and will be broadcast each semester. You can check the saved activities of the semester below. The CLAR lecture series will be held in the Village of Classics and Archeology on the third floor of University Hall. Each lecture is followed by drinks and dinner sponsored by the CLAR chapter and the College of Arts Dean's Office.

Join us on Thursday, January 26th from 5:30pm-6:30pm for the Classics and Archeology Community Lecture Series. Dr. Amanda Herring will present "Heroes on the Move: Re-Imagining Greek. Heroes in the Hellenistic World," CLAR series. , will be held in the Village of Classics and Archeology on the third floor of the University Hall. The annual branch meeting will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the CLAR/THST community (UH 3700). Croatia: LMU Summer in Zagreb LMU Summer in Zagreb is a 5-week summer program exploring Zagreb, Croatia, Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Vis Croatia. Students will complete two courses that award LMU 8 core credits with completion of multiple core and core competencies. You will meet and interact with survivors of the war. Lmu Cvm Hosts Phi Zeta Research Day
* This course supports a 1-credit movement technique course for a dance major or a 1-credit movement technique course for a dance major.
Join us on a 4-week adventure to travel, study and explore the vibrant lands and cultures that form the cornerstones of Western Civilization! The Odyssey project is an LMU faculty-led project that began in Athens. Students will be able to visit the beautiful Acropolis, the ancient Agora, and various museums and farms around the city. The cruise continued with a one-week trip through Greece visiting major sites: Epidavros, Mycenae, Corinth, Nafplio, Sparta, Mystra, Olympia, Delphi, and the ancient theater of Meteora were among the places we visited.
