The Academic Advising Resource Center (AARC) / Office of the Registrar supports academic advisers and students with issues related to academic success, degree progress, courses, assessments, and academic standing.
J House — Oberlin College Hillel
This office and the Student Academic Affairs (SAA) team assist with many academic requirements and regulatory tasks for conservatory and dual degree students.
The College Libraries include the Mary Church Terrell Main Library, the Terrell Special Collections, the College Archives, the Clarence Ward Art Library, the Conservatory Library, and the Science Library.

"ResEd" maintains a personal presence in students' lives through a staff of Resident Assistants (RA) and Village Assistants (VA), full-time students who help build the community.
You can plan your transition over the summer, as our orientation program will include some remote activities before the fall semester begins.
When you arrive, you will meet your assigned PAL – Peer Adviser Leader from the College of Arts and Sciences or Conservatory. PALs are trained to support you as you transition to student life—how to get around campus, which offices you frequent for academic advice and personal support, the best places for independent or group study, where to buy (or get free) basics, how to organize time and many more. PAL also helps first-year students use the academic and developmental advising system.

Young Writing Contest — Oberlin Public Library
Oberlin Community Services wants to help every child in Oberlin have a great holiday with the Holiday Helping Hands program. Each year we at Oberlin connect children ages 0-17 with sponsors in the community. Sponsors buy gifts, wrap them, and deliver them to the office for parents to pick up.
Dozens of handmade ceramics of all shapes and sizes will be available for purchase at the Empty Mugs Holiday Brass & Pottery Extravaganza! The pottery that will be available is made and donated by the wonderful people at the Oberlin Pottery Cooperative!
The event will kick off with a free concert at 1:00pm featuring the talents of the Smokin' Brass and the Oberlin Choristers! Soon the pottery sale will begin, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
