Currently dr. Yuan is Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Medicine and Clinical Medicine, School of Pharmacy, American University of Health. dr. Yuan provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care and pharmaceutical consulting services to psychiatric hospitals and retail pharmacies specializing in adolescent and adolescent psychiatry and psychopharmacology.
As an experienced pharmacist, dr. Yuan has worked for over 11 years as Director of Pharmacy and Pharmacy in a psychiatric hospital. Prior to working as a hospital pharmacist, he had many years of experience as a pharmacist and pharmacy manager in a commercial pharmacy. dr. Yuan oversees the pharmacy technician student, Pharm.D. Most pharmacy students are pharmacy residents for 13 years.
Dr. Yuan has extensive experience in pharmaceutical management, working in mental hospitals and in business. He has extensive expertise in practice management, clinical protocol development, policy and process development, best practice implementation, and student/pharmacology development.

Bio-Dr. Fazelbhoy holds an MD from Western Health University and an MSc from the Medical College of Virginia. He is a registered pharmacist in the state of California and holds an advanced pharmaceutical license. He is certified in Pharmacotherapy and currently works as a Clinical Pharmacist at Aurora Charter Oak Hospital in Covina, California. He is also AAHIVP certified and has practiced HIV medicine in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Dr. Khan brings over 10 years of community service, pharmacy management, and clinical experience to the School of Pharmacy. Before joining dr. Khan, has worked closely with independent pharmacists and physicians in pharmacy practice to improve medication management and adherence practices. He has managed many pharmacies and taught many pharmacy apprentices and pharmacists who are pharmacy directors. dr. Khan is involved in senior education on drug use, chronic illness, and Medicare Part D. He has also worked in medication management at major institutions. dr. Han is currently a member of the California American Pharmacist Association.

Dr. Hussain received his Ph.D. in Pharmacy from the College of Biological Sciences at the Texas Tech University Science Center in Amarillo, Texas, and a B.A. in Pharmacy, Kakatiya University, India. Before joining dr. Hussain, is an assistant professor of chemistry at the University of Louisiana and the University of Oklahoma. He has taught a variety of courses including pharmacology, clinical pharmacology, pharmacology, physical pharmacology, advanced drug delivery and administration, pharmaceutical technology, clinical microbiology, and biotechnology to professional pharmacists and graduate students. He also holds an M.S. and Ph.D. student in the profession.
Research by Dr. Hussain's main focus is on proteins and peptides administered by inhalation. He is currently researching ways to improve drug delivery in laboratory animals and understand the in vitro transport of macromolecular drugs. dr. Hussain is also interested in student learning and applies innovative teaching and learning methods in the classroom and laboratory. After joining in 2020, he was actively involved in the Teaching and Learning Program.
