The annual Winter Lights Festival is back for a FOURTH year to transform SIUH Community Park (new location) into a world of light! This is one of four events that the Winter Lights Festival will take place in New York. From 21/10/2022 to 1/8/2023, Travel east with friends and family to explore the wonders of over 1,000 Chinese lanterns; all handmade by artisans. Our lanterns and light displays will light up the night and bring warmth this holiday season!
This year, walk through a world inspired by Chinese myths and legends, including a giant handmade lantern of Sun Wukong, the Monkey King. In addition, our lighting displays will include:

NYC Ferry: Take public transportation to Battery Park City or Midtown West landing at St. George from NYC Ferry. Individual NYC ferry tickets cost $4.00, or passengers can purchase a package of 10 tickets for $27.50. Tickets can be purchased on the NYC Ferry app or via a vending machine upon arrival. SIUH Community Park is across from NYC Ferry St. George.
Public Transportation: Take public transportation to Whitehall Station in Lower Manhattan. Ride the free Staten Island Ferry to the event. SIUH Community Park is near the Staten Island Ferry.
This is one of four spectacular events that the Winter Lantern Festival will host in New York this holiday season in 2022. Other locations include Queens, NY, Nassau, NY and Suffolk, NY. The event is located in Staten Island, NY and is easily accessible directly from the ferry in downtown Manhattan.
